A few years ago, after much procrastinating, we purchased a Sleep Number Bed. To make a long story short, I have some back issues and could not sleep on our regular beds. I tried everything possible but always was in pain while sleeping and didn’t sleep well, etc…. We purchased the bed during Melissa’s pregnancy with Emma. It not only helped this soon to be stay at home dad but it helped her too.I registered the bed online and after about a year was contacted by the maker of the bed, Select Comfort, who asked how I liked it. In 2002, after much “complaining” about the extremely low morale of the Northlake Police Department and after hearing from the administration that it was only a “few veteran officers” that were starting trouble, we(the FOP Lodge #18) decided to have an employee survey taken. The survey was obtained from a major corporation and altered a bit to apply to a police agency. I highly recommend this survey to any police agency–if the administration will even consider doing a survey! It has been about 5 months since Emma has seen my Uncle Jeff and his wife Jo. The last time she saw them she loved Jo but wouldn’t go by Jeff although she did start to play Peek with him from a distance.They came over and spent a nice evening with us recently. At first Emma was leery of Jeff and, of course, was immediately receptive to Jo. It didn’t take long however, for her to warm up to Jeff. On January 22nd, 2008 Cpl. Lancen Shipman of the Moss Point, Mississippi Police Department was nearly at the end of a 12 hour shift when, at 4:40 PM he attempted to stop a 2004 Nissan Sentra as it exited a neighborhood known for high crime and drug activity. A pursuit began with speeds reaching nearly 100 mph on the streets of the predominantly low income community of 15,000 people.
