DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – An internal affairs report says a Daytona Beach police officer demanded free coffee and tea from a Starbucks and threatened employees with slower emergency response times if they refused. Lt. Major Garvin, a 15-year veteran, was fired July 8. According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Chief Mike Chitwood says Garvin recently failed a polygraph test that he insisted on taking.The coffeehouse’s employees claim that since June 2007, Garvin had visited the store as many as six times a night while on duty. Emma learned a new word recently from her Nonnie. She likes to say “Lovely” now. I think she looks pretty lovely!!

I am restructuring how the vids are posted. The video bar can be difficult to use and is not reliable. I am posting the vids individually and they will be listed in the subfolder titled “Emma Vids”Once the transition is complete the video bar will be removed.

Emma has a few favorite, and I use this term loosely as she is addicted to them, new movies. The first is Finding Nemo. For about a week she wanted to watch it everyday and usually requested it 2 to 3 times a day!The second is Shrek the Third. She loves the little Shrek babies, the Spanish walking cat, and Hook, the pirate with the hook hand. The third, and recently the new addiction, is Cars. She loves the cars going fast and especially loves the train and trucks. Emma had some firsts recently. The first one was her first booboo. She fell down and got a good scrape on top of her foot.
